The staff of Dawson Books value the opportunity to interact with librarians and publishers.

We organise our own events to foster these opportunities. These include roadshows, open days and our ever popular Dawson Days which take place in May and June of each year.

We also attend many conferences and exhibitions during the year. During 2010 we expect to be present at the following events where we will be delighted to meet and exchange views:


2 - 4 March 2010	The 16th Annual Conference of SLA - Arabian Gulf chapter Fairmont Hotel Abu Dhabi, UAE David Harling, Area Sales Manager for the Middle East is delighted to be exhibiting at this foremost event in the Arabian library calendar.

11 - 12 March 2010	Academic Librarian 2: Singing in the Rain Hong Kong Polytechnic University Hong Kong, China David Harling, Area Sales Manager will be attending this popular conference.

15 - 17 March 2010	4. Leipziger Kongress fuer Information und Bibliothek 4th Leipzig Congress for Information and Libraries Leipzig, Germany Dawson Books is delighted to be exhibiting once again at this foremost German Library event. Our stand is F10 and Ronald Jaeger, Area Sales Manager for Germany and German speaking Europe will be delighted to receive you. Ronald is joined by Matthew Brown, Sales and Marketing Assistant.

16 - 19 March 2010	The 72nd Norwegian Library Conference Hamar, Norway Dawson Books is delighted to be exhibiting at this foremost Norwegian library event. David Harling, Area Sales Manager for the Nordic nations and Claire Chandler. eBook Sales and Business Support will be exhibiting on stand 38.

18 March 2010	The Annual Conference for Oxford University Library Staff "Empowering staff to support the academic enterprise" St. Catherine's College, Oxford, UK George Hammond, Sales Manager and Cheryl Fellows, Area Sales Manager are delighted to be exhibiting at this important Oxford University event.

12 - 14 April 2010	UKSG Conference 2010 and Exhibition Edinburgh, UK Dawson Books is privileged to be exhibiting on stand 26 at this important UK conference. The Dawson Team will include George Hammond, Sales Manager; Jude Norris, eBook Sales and Marketing Manager; Mark Howard, eContent Manager; Heather Sherman, Service Development Manager and Sally Barber, Area Sales Manager.

14 - 16 July 2010	ALLCU Conference 2010 Bicton College, East Budleigh, Devon, UK George Hammond, Sales Manager and Cheryl Fellows, Area Sales Manager will be attending this conference.

10 - 15 August 2010	IFLA Gothenburg, Sweden The team at Dawson Books is delighted to be exhibiting on stand C111.

1 - 4 September 2010	Kongress BIS Lausanne Switzerland Dawson Books is privileged to be exhibiting at this premier Swiss library event. Herr Ronald Jaeger, our Area Sales Manager for Switzerland and Madame Josee Willoquet of Dawson France will be delighted to meet our customers and visitors.

6 - 10 October 2010	Frankfurt Book Fair Germany Herr Ronald Jaeger, our Area Sales Manager for Germany will be exhibiting in the International Learning Centre (ILC), hall 4.2 and will be delighted to meet with our customers.
